Circus Central- The Vampire Rabbit

Circus Show based on the monument of the Vampire Rabbit sculpture in Newcastle. Costumes Designed by the Circus and made by myself. The show was set in the turn of the century Victorian period. Costumes and Accessories below were made for a range of performers in theatre, aerial silks and the band.

Band Member Victorian costume made for Circus Central's show The Vampire Rabbit. Costume Designed and made for the late Victorian era. Costume inspired by my research into the period, with a slight twist to be made for the circus specialism. Costume embellished with fur to look like the character has been experimented on and is exploding out their inner rabbit character.	The Baby Vampire Rabbits This head piece was made to create the creepy factor or the evil Vampire rabbit puppet. Head piece shape was taken from cardboard and hessian moulded to the shape of the rabbit. Aerial Costume ( Silks) The Dead Wife costume performing on silks. Costumes was dyed and distressed to look old and rugged.	Aerial (Silk) costume - Dead Wife Victorian costume made for Circus Central's show The Vampire Rabbit. Costume Designed and made for the late Victorian era. Costume inspired by my research into the period, with a slight twist to be made for the circus specialism	Aerial (Silk) costume- Dead Wife Victorian costume made for Circus Central's show The Vampire Rabbit. This Character in particular was distressed and dyed due to her being dead wife. Lace overcoat also designed and made from my findings.

This Costume has been broke down to look more tattered with rips and lace parts pulled apart to look more worn over the period of time.
