Cabasa Carnival Arts
Cabasa Carnival is a small creative carnival parade based in Manchester UK. I helped make costumes for the parade based on the The Tempest in 2016. The costumes were also used in the olympic parade in Manchester on return from Rio.

![]() Print WorkThe Tempest print work Large scale Batique printing to create samba band carnival parade costumes based on the story of the Tempest by William Shakespeare. After adding the white wax to the fabric, I crumpled up the whole fabric so the dye seeped through the cracks in the wax for more of a worn effect. |
